Founded in 1965 by Noel Little (father of Joe and Allan Little), Little Industries has been at the forefront of innovation, continually reinventing itself to meet the demands of Western Australia, particularly the Goldfields region. Throughout its nearly 60 years of operation, The Timber Mining Company, Little Industries, and the N.B. Little and Sons family trust have played a vital role in shaping the Goldfields into the region we recognize today. From humble beginnings in timber haulage to supporting the construction of the Trans Nullarbor Microwave Link (a wireless telephone link), hauling rockmelon from Wiluna to Parkeston, and transporting gravel, gold, and nickel for mining contracts, the Little family can proudly say they have done it all. In 2023, Joe and Allan decided to slow down and consider “semi-retirement,” leading to the acquisition of Little Industries by Kalgoorlie Quarry Products. In July 2024, Kalgoorlie Quarry Products officially took over operations in Kambalda, marking the beginning of a new era.
